A great Camera bag

Review Date: May 26, 2010

I got this bag just before Christmas last year. I can't believe how much stuff I can put in it! It is well constructed and does a great job of protecting my camera. I will say that I can't put my camera in the bag with its 55mm-200mm lens attached. It sticks up too much for my comfort so I just put them in separately. I know that if I took the time to reconfigure the camera compartment, I could probably make it fit, but it's not that big of a deal. I have taken this bag on several plane flights and it always fits into the overhead bin or under the seat in-front of me. On one trip, I had the camera, with a 18mm-55mm lens attached, my 55mm-200mm lens, a small camcorder, a small point and shoot camera, 6 DVD's, my kindle, a DVD player, a sweater, chargers for all previously mentioned devices, and coloring books for my daughter. And there was still some room!!
Great Backpack

I LOVE THIS BAG! Fits my laptop perfectly and my Nikon D5000 with the 18-55mm lens attached. Has enough room for 2-3 other lenses all the chargers and accesories, and my handycam. My wife likes it too because on the weekends we can use the middle compartment as a diaper bag for short trips to the park. It's a perfect bag. The camera compartment is adjustable and waterproof. It fits comfortably, very lightweight and has very good padding to protect everything inside. Would recommend to anyone.
Very Satisfied

After going through a lot of websites, umpteen number of user reviews I was totally confused to buy a good backpack for my Camera and Laptop. But, eventually I went with my instincts and this bag proved it right.
Lowepro CompuDaypack is tailor-made for a person like me who wants to carry both the camera and laptop together in a backpack. Bag can easily hold these items:
1. DSLR Camera body with 18-105mm lens mounted (still has enough room for another couple of lenses)
2. Inspiron 1545 laptop + Charger
3. Camera Accessories like charger, cables, cleaning kit etc
4. Miscellaneous (a novel/magazine/book+headphones+spare t-shirt)
The front camera portion has partitions which can be adjusted to the needs. (velcro) Laptop is at the back and the bag has some neat padding to rest on your back.
There are enough pouches to hold small items like memory card, iPod etc and overall its a complete Camera+Laptop backpack.
Awesome bag

Quick Review of Lowepro CompuDaypack Digital SLR Camera Backpack Case (Black)

The bag is as described.. One main compartment for your camera gear, in the bottom, such as camera body(ies), lenses, and/or other equipment. The bottom is partitioned and the entire insert can be removed... There is also the main (dual zipper) compartment, which offers plenty of room for a laptop (I'd say comfortably for a 15" and maybe a little larger), though I have not used it for my own. There is also a secondary zipper compartment with smaller zipper pockets and pouches, suitable for other nicknacks like electronics adapters, peripherals, memory, etc. Additionally, there is a small media pocket (won't fit larger media players) which has an outlet for your headphones (again, haven't yet used it)... The build quality is decent, and the straps are comfortable.
